Get out and vote
The QLC is a nonpartisan group that believes it is the right and responsibility of every citizen to vote for the government that best represents them. We urge all Hoboken residents to register to vote, and to maintain eligibility by registering address changes with the Hudson County Clerk's Office.

Learn about local candidates
For the past decade, we have hosted candidates forums offering citizens an opportunity to hear candidates for local offices respond to questions from the public in a moderated, timed format. Below are videos from recent candidates forums.

On Oct. 20, the Hoboken Quality of Life Coalition hosted our 2016 Board of Education candidate forum. We have provided this community service for many years and take pride in sponsoring this opportunity for citizens to ask questions of our candidates for public office. The full-length video is below.
The QLC Board of Trustees would like to express our sincere thanks to the various organizations and people who helped make it possible, from our host location, the Hoboken Elks Lodge, to the candidates and the many citizens who joined us on a night filled with other competing events, to our moderator, Bob Bowdon, for keeping the discussion moving forward, and to our wonderful volunteers for their kind assistance. Thank you also to Mayor Dawn Zimmer and Communications Manager, Juan Melli, for helping us broadcast the video on local cable channels.
We appreciate the community feedback we have received on this year’s forum and thank you for your thoughtful consideration and suggestions to improve the presentation of subsequent events. QLC is currently working with the City and various governmental agencies on a number of exciting initiatives and we welcome volunteers to support these projects.
